You can reach the FHW by car

•   via the A23 from the south,

•   via the B5 from the north,

•   via the B203 from the east.

The travel times are about

•   70 minutes from Hamburg Stellingen or Hamburg Airport,

•   60 minutes from Kiel,

•   110 minutes from Lübeck.

The FHW is signposted from the A23 from the exit "Heide Süd".
