You can reach us by train from the south via Hamburg-Altona. There is an InnerCity train from Cologne to Westerland/Sylt with a stop in Heide that runs twice daily in summer.

There are also trains that run from Kiel with transfers in Husum or in Neumünster.

The S1 S-Bahn line runs to Hamburg-Altona every 10 minutes. From there, hop on the Nord-Ostsee-Bahn local train in the direction of Westerland. The journey from Hamburg Airport takes about 2 hours.
