After obtaining a B. A. or Diploma in Tourism Management (or similar fields of study with at least 20 credits in tourism related subjects), students can obtain a Master degree after further four semesters. The Master Programme will start in Winter semester just with German courses for the first time. In Summer semester you can apply for the English Master Programme.
In the second and third semester, students choose between a business and a cultural studies specialisation. The compulsory semester abroad can be completed at one of our numerous partner universities (e.g. in Argentina, China and New Zealand). As in the B.A. course International Tourism Management, the West Coast University of Applied Sciences emphasizes internationality and practical relevance in the Master program as well as the students' personal development.
An essential feature of the Master's program is the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach. By spending one semester abroad, attending classes in English and due to cooperations with international tourism businesses and destinations, students will be well prepared for the global job market. A variety of careers in international tourism organizations, hotels, tour operators and travel agencies, airline companies, fairs, events and conventions or inbound agencies await the graduates. Nongovernmental organizations and public authorities are potential employer for graduates, too.
What West Coast University of Applied Sciences has to offer:

What is the ITM office and questions you might have
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eric Horster, who is responsible for the study programs ITM Bachelor and Master, the employees of the ITM office help students organizing and managing their studies and are contact personen for all questions and problems. Currently, there are two employees working for the ITM student's office.
We were students of the study program ITM (Bachelor and Master). Therefore, we are familiar with both sides of the study: the student's perspective as well as well as the coordinator's perspective.
Problems can be a first step to improvement. It is through solving them, thatprogress can be made and your study environment can be enhanced, which is our main objective.
Please, don't hesitate to ask us any questions. We always try to help and support you as best as we can and find solutions for any of your problems.
